Become a Diamond After Death

Wow It is now possible to have your remains converted into diamonds. When i discussed this with my wife , with a twinkle ion her eye, she asked “is it possible for you to just give an arm now and have it made into a diamond before you die”.   I would suspect it is possible.

I was talking of a company called LifeGem that can take your remains , well the carbon from your remains and convert them into actual diamonds. Thats right real true diamonds that you can leave to your loved ones as a unique and unforgetable memorial token.  From their website “The LifeGem® is a certified, high-quality diamond created from the carbon of your loved one as a memorial to their unique life.”

LifeGem diamonds are molecularly identical to natural diamonds found at any high-end jeweler.  To qualify as diamonds, they must have the exact same brilliance, fire, and hardness (the hardest substance known) as diamonds from the earth, and of course, they do!

Another interesting option that Life Gem points out about its service is that this can be done with cremation remains that are years old as the carbon is available for a long time in the remains.

The costs for a Life Gem Diamond seem to run between $3000 and $9000 for different sizes and colors and they offer a reasonable family plan that includes 4 jewelry pieces for around $1800 check out LifeGem.com for more info.  My wife looks at me with renewed affection now that i told her i would make myself into a few diamonds for her. Be Well.

  1. We would love to talk to you about the diamonds our company makes. DNA2Diamonds makes real GIA diamonds from cremated ashes, but we are also able to make real GIA certified diamonds using a lock of hair. We can even make your diamond from both you and your wife. This allows partners to have a diamond created even before the burial.

Looking forward to talking with you a bit more.
